GOODYEAR / GULF STATES STEEL / GOLF COURSE / HONDA !
What do they all have in common?
They all want our money and support.
GadRag wants to know why?
(Please e-mail your thoughts we want how you feel
on the subject to publish and share not our point of view!)
Last first Honda. Do you think they may
remember when we dropped a bomb or two to end their quest for world Domination
and their determination to end democracy and a free society as we
know it today.
Look up the code of the Samurai.
Have we complained about foreign steel and rubber? Japan has no
more room for new plants. No more room for their growing population to
live. So get out the Welcome mat Honey we have new neighbors. Remember
his grandfather killed ours, we blew up their country so we built it back.
They in turn shipped us their cheep products using our technology with
the system left in place by our military, with factories we built back,
using almost slave labor causing Dad to get laid off! They live in that
Big New House where daddy had to sell the family land when I was out of
work. Hey and Don Seagilman says there might be a Labor job in the new
plant or related industry for me and junior if we can give them enough
money and tax breaks. Got to go honey dinner is almost over and they might
some extra help washing dishes down at the dinner with all these Japanese
in town drumming up support for the New plant.
I hope the steel plant calls me back before we lose our house.
Second Golf Course. Will it bring jobs,
will it bring people in with money to put in the Local economy, or will
it be a place for good ole' boys to have a drink and bring their buddies?
This is a hard question!
Third and first Gulf States Steel and Goodyear.
If we believe they truly would use the money to help the area communities
and the people in them, then we should do every thing in our power to make
this happen. But track records say only for a little while and only to
further our own agenda not to make long term job commitments as long as
you work for less, longer hours, less benefits, less workers, more production,
let us give our corporate CEO's more money, you go to Washington and fight
for Federal aid for us, so we can lose more money, file bankruptcy, let
us layoff more workers...the list could go own forever. How long will the
gadsden area and surrounding communities be held hostages by ill ran companies,
under the veal of job security?
